That's right people i'm on about big ass glasses! can we really say these face over taking items are nice too look at? Although this is an old trend that I thought it might die a sudden death and be left to fancy dress. It appears  they are popping up more and more.... from smallvilles Clark Kent to Made in Chelsea. But do they really look good or are they just try hard? I myself have dabbled in the craze and feel although this trend is a great attention grabber, i'm not sure its grabbing the right attention!!! And for that matter if your out for attention you should go all out and chose a dress made out of meat or platforms without a heel, not a god damm pair of glasses!!!

THE PRICE OF FAME?

Spotted recently my fame hungry friends winning a trip to Topshop fashion show, Fashion week, London. I was pleasantly surprised hearing all about their adventures and the outfits sported by the celebs. However of course the main topic was Pixie Geldofs hair and how shockingly skinny Nicola Roberts is in the flesh, This makes me thankful celebs are mainly seen on TV as everyone's moto would become 'Ill eat when i'm dead'. As I recently read this is how clothes horses stay thin, If you do die that's one less person to compete with... keep up the good work girls!

PUBLICITY STUNT??

So recently I have been counting my blessings that I want to make the clothes that go down the catwalk rather than wear them. As looking at the dangers involved in walking with a straight face, in a straight line, without tripping on the latest versace creation is a job that I am happy to stay away from. Most models just fall once or twice and it can make their career... for example naomi campbell in those famous vivenne westwood platforms... that fall did her and the shoes some good. So after much consideration I have decided when I am a struggling designer the first person I will employ to wear my clothes will be Lindsey Wixson who recently fell three times!! That alot of promotion. In fact maybe everyone of my models should fall now that would be an eye catching show and less pressure for the people involved.
